10 Awful Actors Who Were Paid Incredible Salaries

10. Ashton Kutcher

Net worth: $140 million. Well known to many people for being Demi Moore's erstwhile "other half", Kutcher is an actor who never seemed to manage to transcend him model roots. From his early days in front of the camera in such high profile (ahem) movies as Dude, Where's My Car? and Just Married, his acting skills have left a lot to be desired. In fact, so bad is his acting that some went to rather drastic lengths to point this out. Director Cameron Crowe pushed back production on his movie Elizabethtown so that Kutcher could take acting lessons and improve his ability. Rumour has it this did little to improve matters and Crowe and Kutcher unceremoniously parted ways. Kutcher lost out on a part in M Night Shyamalan's The Village under mysterious circumstances, hinting that the actor is best off playing the dim-witted simpleton familiar in films like Dude, Where's My Car? Notwithstanding some pretty atrocious feedback from his co-workers throughout his career, Kutcher managed to land the main part on CBS's sitcom Two and a Half Men, replacing Charlie Sheen. With $800,000 per episode dropping into his bank account, making him the highest paid actor on prime time television in America, it seems that talent isn't a prerequisite for huge success.
