10 Awful Comic Book Movies That Would Actually Benefit From A Reboot

The Devil of Hell's Kitchen may have recently been the star of his own show that ran for three hugely popular seasons on Netflix, but we're still waiting on the eventual big screen reboot that can make us all forget about Ben Affleck's brief and much-maligned stint as Daredevil.

The actor admitted he only took the role because he was a huge fan of the comic books growing up, but so was his best buddy Matt Damon and he still had the sense to turn it down before the role went to Affleck. There's plenty wrong with Daredevil, not least the incredibly distracting fact that the leading man's head never appears as though it fits properly into the mask.

While the Director's Cut marked a huge improvement on the theatrical release, the general malaise surrounding Daredevil saw the star swear off starring in a superhero movie ever again, which he totally stuck to and didn't go on to play Batman the same number of times as Christian Bale a decade later.

With the rights to The Man Without Fear now back in the hands of Marvel Studios, it's surely only a matter of time before we see the character rebooted as part of the MCU, either as the star of a feature-length film or a Disney Plus series.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
