10 Awful Films American Horror Story Actors Want Us To Forget

7. The Veil - Lilly Rabe

Emma Roberts American Horror Story
Universal Pictures

Appearing in every season of AHS except for Cult, Lily Rabe’s most notable contributions to the anthology include Asylum’s Sister Mary Eunice, Coven’s Misty Day, and Roanoke leading lady Shelby Miller. Stealing the spotlight in every scene she’s in, AHS just wouldn’t be the same without her.

Outside of the horror series, Rabe has enjoyed a prolific career spanning both the big and small screen. With roles in Vice, Miss Stevens, and All Good Things, Rabe has a habit of bringing an extra spark to whatever she’s in.

Unfortunately, though, even her charismatic presence has its limitations, with the Jason Blum produced horror show The Veil being one such example.

Releasing straight to VOD, this plot saw Rabe star as a sole survivor of a cult’s mass suicide. Twenty-five later she’s met by documentary filmmakers Maggie (Jessica Alba) and her brother Christian (Jack De Sena) who aim to uncover what happened that day, claiming to have uncovered new footage of the cult known as Heaven’s Veil.

Upon watching the lost films, however, the filmmakers discover that something more supernatural is afoot.

Devolving into a bland and ultimately uninspired dripping with more clichés than scares, it’s no surprise why this film skipped its theatrical release.
