Debuting as spoiled actress Madison Montgomery in Covent, Emma Roberts went on to feature in Freak Show, Cult, Apocalypse, and 1984, making her one of the series’ biggest and brightest young performers.

Outside of AHS, Roberts has enjoyed a glamorous career in and out of the horror genre, appearing in sorority slasher Scream Queens, indie darling It’s Kind Of A Funny Story, and social media thriller Nerve. But even Roberts has seen her fair share of stinkers, too. Most recently with Netflix rom-com Holidate. Though even that film is nothing in comparison to Billionaire Boys Club.

Based on the true story of a group of rich teens who become embroiled in fraud scheme and murder in the 1980s, the crime drama saw Roberts share the screen alongside Taron Egerton, Ansel Elgort, and Jeremy Irvine. It also featured AHS Apocalypse’s Billie Lourd.

Compared to a failed Wolf Of Wall Street, the film was unanimously panned by critics upon release.

But it was the film’s unfortunate timing that would see it buried by studios. Scheduled for release at the time when co-star Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual misconduct, the film made a pitiful $126 on its opening day, the lowest in cinema history.
