10 Awful Films Arrow Actors Want Us To Forget

1. John Barrowman - Shark Attack 3: Megalodon

When John Barrowman first showed up as Malcolm Merlyn in Arrow, he was already a known face to most viewers thanks to his stint as Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and its spinoff show, Torchwood. It's no surprise; despite spending far more episodes in the Arrowverse as the Dark Archer, Barrowman can't quite shake his better-known role.

Before he took on the world war two jacket of the good Captain though, Barrowman had another notable role in Shark Attack 3: Megalodon. In that film, which is best described as so bad it went around to good again and then still ended up bad, John Barrowman is playing the role of Tom Cruise. More specifically, he was the closest to someone who looked like Tom Cruise they could afford and his only acting direction as Ben The Lifeguard seems to have been "Do what Tom Cruise would do in a film like this."

Despite Tom running in almost every movie he's appeared in, Barrowman didn't speed away the moment he'd read the script, and those who've watched the finished film will always wonder why.
