10 Awful Films Doctor Who Actors Want You To Forget
9. St Trinian's 2: The Legend Of Fritton's Gold
With a title like that, what could possibly go wrong? David Tennant's lauded portrayal of the Tenth Doctor in Doctor Who established him as a formidable on screen force to be reckoned.
The actor appeared as Sir Piers Pomfrey in the 2009 adventure comedy (and they use the term 'comedy lightly there!) in which the girls of St Trinians go on the hunt for buried treasure and... oh, that's about it. You could argue that a film of this variety isn't supposed to be taken seriously but that doesn't mean that it's enjoyable, either. If you liked the first one then you'll probably enjoy its slapdash sequel, too, but bear in mind that it drowned in waves of critical revulsion upon its initial release and it takes approximately 10 minutes to determine what the film is lacking. Most notably, a narrative.
There's 106 minutes of your life that you're never getting back. Just think of what else you could've been doing.
