1. Emilia Clarke - Terminator Genisys
Hearing that another Terminator film was coming got fans of the series very excited, and then learning that the ever-popular Emilia Clarke would be taking on the role of a young Sarah Connor held a lot of promise. Ultimately neither of these potentially excellent prospects went well, as the film was abysmal and Clarke turned in a very poor performance.
It seems that her abilities aren't the issue here, as she is wildly miscast in the role. Linda Hamilton's Sarah Connor was an absolute force to be reckoned with. She started weak but full of spirit in the first movie, but evolved into an absolutely iconic formidable fighting presence in the sequel and even had a decent spin-off series.
The fact of the matter is that Clarke can't play intimidating very well. Her time in GOT exposed this quite often, but it still worked because Dany was young and her intimidation came from the power she accumulated, however as Sarah Connor, her ability to play a convincing badass was incredibly limited.
This is one of the worst franchise films ever made, and utterly killed the Terminator series leading to Dark Fate being the final nail in the coffin. Sadly for Clarke, she is a major part of what made the movie fail.
