10 Awful Films Glee Actors Want Us To Forget
8. Nobody's Fool (2018) - Amber Riley
Let's start with the positives for Nobody's Fool - it has a really terrific set of actors. In particular, Tiffany Haddish shines in this otherwise bleak affair as her portrayal of Tanya is sharp and funny. If there's any reason to seriously view this movie, it's for Tiffany's overlooked performance. It's also wonderful to see Glee alumni Amber Riley get a chance to showcase her talents on the silver screen.
Nobody's Fool is a comedy-drama, without much humour to it. It's a feeble story that follows Danica - a woman in a relationship with a man she's never actually met, but has only communicated with online. Her recently paroled sister, Tanya, believes this man is misleading her about his identity.
Tyler Perry has never really proven his worth as a film director, and Nobody's Fool is no exception. It may be a female dominated story but he wrote them all so poorly, that they just come across as a group of obnoxious women. The story itself is very simplistic, but Perry could have enhanced the overall film if he had just constructed the leading roles with more dignity and intelligence.
