10 Awful Films Harry Potter Actors Want Us To Forget

When this remake of the classic movie franchise helmed by Tim Burton was announced, it caused an uproar of excitement. Burton was already a decorated director, the cast was incredible, and after a killer trailer, it seemed this would be an epic experience. Then, we got to watch it, and pretty much everyone wanted to smack their heads into a wall to forget it.

The flick takes place in 2029 and depicts the events after an astronaut crashes on the titular planet inhabited by talking primates. Humans are treated as slaves there, and the astronaut (with the help of some ape friends) leads a revolution to free them.

This movie is an absolute mess. The plot is incredibly convoluted and confusing, which makes it tough to sit through. Plus, although the prosthetics are incredibly impressive, it's an ugly movie filled with weird, uncanny valley creations and way too many awkward sexual moments.

While on the subject of unconventional romances. Helena Bonham Carter (known to many as the terrifying Bellatrix Lestrange) takes centre stage as an ape called Ari who takes a liking to the lead. This relationship is full of implied sexual tension and even a kiss at the end, and it's just as disturbing as it sounds.
