10 Awful Films Harry Potter Actors Want Us To Forget
2. Thunderpants - Rupert Grint
In all fairness, it's pretty common for children's movies to be embarrassing and weird. But, a kid whose flatulence is so potent it can send him to space? That might be a step past the line.
The plot follows a young kid named Patrick, born with two stomachs and devastating gas that can blow people over and damage property. He and his best friend - a science prodigy played by Grint - make a garment that can contain the boy's farts and eventually find themselves venturing to space with them.
The film does exactly what it's supposed to do, i.e. make kids laugh. It's hardly a bad flick, as it achieves its goals, even if watching it as an adult can be unbearable. Still, for Rupert Grint, you have to imagine that he looks back on this one with the same cringe that we all have when remembering our childish antics.
As an adult who has moved past the movies of his youth, you have to imagine that Ronald Weasley might suffer from knowing that one of his most embarrassing projects is available to view for everyone, for all time.
