Even though delays and reshoots are intended to make a movie better, they are always viewed in a negative light since they are a sign something in the production has gone terribly wrong.

Of course, reshoots aren't always a bad thing. They worked out for Apocalypse Now, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Back to the Future.Nevertheless, things didn't look great when The Wolfman was delayed by a full two years.

With directors being fired, composers being let go then rehired, and the ending being redone over and over again, it was a miracle the film saw the light of day. Despite an all-star cast including Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, and Benicio Del Toro, nothing could save this dreary mess.

Unlike most terrible horror films, this reboot isnt even enjoyably bad. Instead of embracing the campy nature of the genre, The Wolfman takes itself way too seriously, having actors like Hugo Weaving churning out exposition-heavy monologues, turning the film into a snooze-fest.

Even though the original Wolf Man and the pseudo-remake, An American Werewolf in London, had groundbreaking special effects, the make up and CGI in this film is uncreative and forgetful.
