10 Awful Movies Dexter Actors Want Us To Forget

3. Exit Speed - Desmond Harrington (Joey Quinn)

Exit Speed
Phase 4 Films

The same year Desmond Harrington joined the Dexter ensemble, he appeared in the action flick, Exit Speed. The story centres around a bus that's hijacked by a group of nomad bikers after the vehicle accidentally runs down one of their people.

Considering Harrington is in the dead centre of the film's poster and gets top billing, you'd naturally assume he plays the lead. However, Fred Ward plays the main character: the cop who's trying to bring the nomads to justice. Harrington plays one of the passengers and doesn't have a massive influence on the story. (It's very possible his mug was slapped on the poster simply because the studio thought that his handsome face would help sell the movie.)

So, if you wanted to watch Exit Speed to see Harrington kick ass, you're out of luck. Not only does he not do much, the action is unimpressive and the acting is cartoonishly unrealistic, especially from the bikers. The story is so formulaic, you can figure out what's going to happen before the characters do. Apart from some creative kill shots, Exit Speed is completely forgettable.
