6. Sam Claflin (Oswald Mosley) - Charlie's Angels

Charlie's Angels was a successful TV series in the 1970s centring around three female private investigators working for mysterious benefactor Charlie. Because it was a big hit, it's unsurprising Hollywood tried to force a modern reboot or two out of the beloved series. Although McG's Charlie's Angels adaptation did well at the box office, the film and its sequel were seen as a dumbed down version of the show.

When Elizabeth Banks announced she was writing, starring, and directing another reboot in 2018, fans were hoping it would capture the spirit of the original series. To the film's credit, some elements work. Sam Claflin gets to show off his comedy chops, Patrick Stewart is delightful as Bosley, and the titular Angels have great chemistry.

But despite a promising cast, even the most die-hard fans of the property will fail to remember a single memorable line or funny gag. Even though the cinematographer, Bill Pope, worked on incredible action sequences in Baby Driver, Spider-Man 2 and The Matrix, all of the action in the film is embarrassingly generic.

Regardless of its relatively modest budget of $48 million, Charlie's Angels still failed to make a profit.
