10 Awful Movies That Actors Loved Shooting
5. Bryce Dallas Howard - The Twilight Saga
Released from 2007 to 2012, the Twlight saga - based on the novels by Stephanie Meyer - is polarising, to say the least. Despite this splitting of opinion, the Twilight movies still managed to rake in over $3.3 billion at the global box office.
Opinions have varied dramatically on the five-film franchise; some fans worship the series religiously, while others view it as a grave mistake that vacuumed all the charisma out of its cast. The same holds true for the actors themselves, with both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart having voiced their disapproval over how the films turned out.
Twilight, for all its overzealous fandom and emotionless performances, is a comical soap opera, for the most part. When it came to the third entry in the series - 2010's Eclipse - the villainous Victoria was played by Bryce Dallas Howard, who replaced actress Rachelle Lefevre.
As an off-kilter role for Howard, playing a villain did offer some enjoyment for her. This came despite the initial nerves over coming into the franchise half-way through.
On reflection on her time involved with Twilight, Howard has said, "I felt so lucky to meet this group of people. It's a group of people that have genuine friendships and are so deeply committed to doing justice to these stories, and who always put the character and the story first".
