10 Awful Movies The Flash Actors Want Us To Forget
3. Candyman: Day Of The Dead - Tony Todd (Zoom)
One of Flash's most recurring foes throughout the series is the speed demon, Zoom. Because he's one of many evil speedsters, it would've been easy for Zoom to come across as a generic villain. But with the visionary voice-actor, Tony Todd, lending his vocals to the character, Zoom became one of the most distinct baddies in the Arrowverse.
Todd may have 200 movies under his belt but he's still best-known for his playing the titular role in the horror flick, Candyman, where he plays a hook-wielding serial-killing spirit. The movie would've probably become a forgettable slasher if it wasn't for the towering performance of Todd, who dominates every single scene he's in.
Even though Todd showed his acting skills can help elevate a weak script, he can't work miracles, as he proved in the abominable sequel, Candyman: Day of the Dead. This film is so poorly written and devoid of interesting characters, it feels like the director shot everything on the first take. This follow-up turned out appallingly, which is why it's no surprise the franchise laid dormant for over two decades.
