10 Awful Movies The Flash Actors Want Us To Forget

4. Mark Hamill - Slipstream (James Jesse AKA The Trickster)

Mark Hamill isn't just an actor or a Hollywood star - he's an icon. With his performances as Luke Skywalker and the Joker over the decades, Hamill has become a legend of the geek fandom.

But with over 300 roles under his belt, it is not a surprise that a couple of them are less than stellar. However, Slipstream is regarded as Hamill's lowest point. Worse than Sleepwalkers. Worse than Wing Commander. Worse than The Star Wars Holiday Special... okay, it's not that bad, but it's still pretty terrible.

In Slipstream, Hamill plays a Dirty Harry-inspired bounty hunter tracking a murderer while surviving in a post-apocalyptic world. If that sounds like a badass premise, that's all it is. Many scenes were cut due to excessive violence, which made the remainder of the film utterly incomprehensible.

Slipstream did appallingly at the box office, causing the director, Gary Kurtz, to file for bankruptcy. Considering Kurtz had produced some absolute gems including The Dark Crystal, American Graffitti, and a little film called Star Wars, that should give you an idea of how badly this movie tanked.
