10 Awful Movies Vikings Actors Want Us To Forget

3. Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn Ironside) - Grown Ups 2

When you're watching one of Adam Sandler's Happy Madison productions, it's sensible to set your standards as low as possible. But even if you do that, you'll still be disappointed (and a little angry) after watching his 2013 comedy, Grown Ups 2.

In this pointless sequel, Sandler's character, Lenny, moves back to his hometown, believing spending time with his childhood friends will bring balance to his life. Instead, Lenny and his mates get involved in all sorts of wacky hi-jinx, often accompanied with unfunny jokes revolving around bodily functions and political incorrectness.

The only redeemable part of the story is when Marcus, portrayed by David Spade, tries to connect with the son he never knew he had, Braden. The teenage Braden is played by a 6ft 2 Alexander Ludwig (who was in his 30s at the time). Even though it's a dated joke to have an adult portray a teen, Ludwig is hilarious as the volatile Braden. When he loses his temper and screams how he will reign vengeance upon his enemies, he sounds indistinguishable from his Vikings' counterpart. It's nice to see Ludwig show off his comedy chops but his performance isn't enough to save this distasteful sequel.
