10 Bad Movies Made Much Better If You Watch Them As A Comedy

2. Alone In The Dark (2005)

Director Uwe Boll is known as the modern day Ed Wood, making terrible movie after terrible without any regard to how we all may feel about it. Alone in the Dark is considered the absolute worst of his film career. Loosely based on the video game series of the same name, the film stars Christian Slater as a supernatural detective and Tara Reid as the scientist assisting him. Yup, Tara Reid plays a scientist (she even wears a pair of glasses in the film to let you know). The film has so many ridiculous moments that it€™s hard to even keep track. There are psychically impossible Street Fighter moves, you have bad guys gratuitously jumping through windows and a bunch of other nonsensical... nonsense. The more you get into the film, the more silly it becomes. Subsequently, things become more and more hilarious. The story makes no sense, the plot holes are gigantic, it has nothing to do with the game that it was based on and it's an absolute hoot.
