Sucker Punch is probably a direct translation of whatever Zack Snyder dreams about when he goes to sleep at night, and despite the director insisting that he wanted the movie to 'be a cool story and not just like a video game where you're just loose and going nuts', he made a movie exactly like a video game where you're just loose and going nuts.

That being said, the $82m blockbuster came with one hell of an eye-catching trailer. Its doubtful that anybody would be able to tell you even the slightest bit about what the movie is about or what the f*ck exactly is going on, but its nonetheless a balls-to-the-wall action-packed two minute promo.

Sucker Punch bombed at the box office, where it failed to even crack $90m globally, but the movie's content sparked huge debate from both sides. Snyder claimed it was a critique on the objectification of women, others said that's all the movie did. The female cast publicly stated that they found the whole experience empowering, while critics derided the movie as a sexist and misogynist piece of sh*t.

So clearly, nobody still has a clue what the f**k Sucker Punch is supposed to be about then.
