As one of the stars of the Fast and the Furious movie franchise, Hollywood actor Vin Diesel is no stranger to flaming cars, but found himself face-to-face with a real-life automobile inferno when riding through Hollywood on his motorcycle one day back in 2002.
The XXX and Guardians of the Galaxy actor was riding behind a car which flipped over and burst into flames. Thinking quickly, Diesel jumped off his bike and ran over to help. Heroically, he pulled two kids out of the back seat of the car and then helped the driver make his way out too.
Only moments after the actor had gotten everyone out, the car was completely covered in flames. Without Diesel's intervention, it's horrible to think of what might have happened. In the very literal heat of the moment, the deep-voiced star knew exactly what to do and undoubtedly saved a few lives that day.
