10 Best & 10 Worst Horror Movies Of 2015

5. Monsters: Dark Continent

RT Rating: 18% Given the success of the original Monsters, it€™s something of a travesty that a sequel was ever allowed, let alone one that would end up being largely released to VOD. Unfortunately, Gareth Edwards wasn€™t really available to do anything from his executive producer€™s chair, so new writer/director Tom Green was given free reign to make whatever film he wanted €œas long as it had monsters in€. A hearty congratulations must go to the idiot who told him that, as he sucked out everything that made Edwards€™ original bold and thought provoking and replaced it with tired war cliches. And the monsters aren€™t even in it that much, so the only bloody guidance was basically ignored.
