4. Lazarus Effect
RT Rating: 13% Unfortunately for fans of Olivia Wilde, The Lazarus Effect fails to inject any new life into a tired old formula, and the enduring feel at the end is of a film that is lazy and oddly hollow. Despite being a horror, it is neither scary on a surface level or at any deeper psychological one: you wont remember it, you wont be haunted in any way by it. Except perhaps by the money spent watching it. There are a few brainlessly enjoyable moments, but like Terminator Genisys it tries so hard to insist of its intelligence without any real substance that it feels like a jock reading calculus.
