10 Best & 10 Worst Movies By Doctor Strange Actors
8. The Imitation Game (2014)
It's astounding that it took this long for Hollywood to give British cryptanalyst Alan Turing his own movie, and of course, Benedict Cumberbatch absolutely crushes the role in a terrific, Oscar-nominated performance.
Though there's much controversy about how the movie handled Turing's homosexuality (and his subsequent chemical castration), it's hard to argue with how it celebrates his cracking of the Enigma code, and surrenders the tragic means through which he was "rewarded" for this.
It's imperfect and possibly a little too packaged for Oscars for some tastes, but Cumberbatch effortlessly carries it with his best performance to date.
