10 Best "Oh Sh*t, He's Dead And I'm Next" Moments In Horror Movies

4. Jaws 2 - Tina Wilcox

Captain Spaulding Devil's Rejects
Universal Pictures

Jaws 2 has one of the all-time great howls in horror cinema, with Ann Dusenberry's Tina Wilcox totally put through the most traumatic of wringers during Jeannot Szwarc's 1978 sequel offering.

For Tina, she bellows out a haunting, terrified "Shark!" when she's found by Martin Brody, his wife Ellen and new Chief of Police, Jeff Hendricks. Before that, Dusenberry has another moment to shine when her character has to react to seeing her partner Eddie devoured by a great white shark.

It's in that moment that we see Tina fearing she's next to be munched by this apex predator, as she completely freaks the f**k out. And to be fair, who can blame her, for she's just frantically cheered her boyfriend on as he sought to swim to safety... only to see him attacked by the shark and rammed into their boat.

From there, Tina is stuck in the middle of the ocean, in a small boat, defenceless as this giant shark casually circles her boat. For all Tina knows, she's absolutely next on the menu.

By the time we catch up with Tina later in Jaws 2, she's an emotional mess, having spent her time hunkered down at the base of her boat, praying for mercy.
