2. Battle On Titan - Avengers: Infinity War

Picking just one action sequence from Avengers: Infinity War isn't easy, but the clear stand-out is the battle between Thanos (Josh Brolin) and the Avengers assembled on Titan.

Seeing Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and co. combine their abilities to take on the Mad Titan was everything this MCU has been building towards for a decade, and it sure didn't disappoint.

This scene had everything: Strange using his cape to temporarily prevent Thanos from using the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos literally ripping a moon apart and flinging it at Iron Man, the almost-successful attempt to remove the gauntlet from his arm, Iron Man almost dying and Doctor Strange cryptically hinting at what's to come.

More than anything, though, this and Thanos' subsequent arrival on Wakanda saw the Avengers beaten down and defeated like never before. It was a stunning sight to see, and considering how long the build-up to the Mad Titan's arrival has been, it's pretty incredible that the Russos made it feel totally worth the wait.
