10 Best Avenger Actor Team-Ups Outside Of The MCU

Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen have terrific chemistry, that's just a fact. In the MCU, they may not share the funniest scenes, have the best banter, or even have that much time together, but when they are acting together, they are absolutely engaging. The little father/daughter relationship they've had throughout their films, Clint convincing Wanda to be an Avenger in Age of Ultron, Wanda standing at Clint's side during Civil War, the quiet reflection they share for their lost loved ones in Endgame highlight the heights of their acting abilities.

The intense 2017 neo-western murder mystery film Wind River is no different.

Renner stars as U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Tracker, Cory Lambert, who comes across the body of a young woman who's been sexually assaulted. Olsen, as FBI agent Jane Banner, teams up with the tracker to solve the murder upon the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming.

The pair's stoic and nuanced performances are a cut above their work in the MCU, down to the fact that Marvel movies are inherently family friendly - yes, even the one where the bad guy kills half the universe. In Wind River, the pair can show off their acting chops while still retaining the tightly knit bond they share as Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch.

Their performances are akin to Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart's in Logan; same great actors with the same palpable relationship, just dialled up a notch or two.
