10 Best Avengers Cosplay Characters Ever

2. Does Whatever A Spider Can

Now that Sony and Marvel Studios have come to an arrangement, Spider-Man will - at long last - take his place in the MCU. That's a big deal - he's one of the most iconic superheroes of all time, and Marvel's go-to-guy for years to shore up sales during their years of bankruptcy. Scuttlebutt (like gossip with a press pass) says that he'll have a cameo, perhaps more, in next year's Captain America: Civil War movie, pitting Iron Man against Captain America in a very, very loose adaptation of the comics storyline from eight or nine years ago. Some cosplayers, in addition to being massive Spider-Man fans, are fans of tight-fitting masked costumes in their private lives. Lord knows we don't judge, but we'd prefer not to have to dry clean the costumes afterwards. The above example of a Spider-Fan is notable for being almost completely accurate to the version most often seen in the comic books...
...and then there's the by-now-obligatory female version of the character. Kind of. There's no doubt that it's a great look, but the shoes are off the peg and the hands are free... there's no mask... frankly, it looks like someone's repurposed an old gym outfit and added a spider-man print leotard. Zero points for effort from the Russian judges there, Spider-Lady. This one, on the other hand, gets full marks on all counts. The Black Cat costume is note perfect - Felicia Hardy would be proud - and the Spider-Man ball of yarn to play with is a brilliant, imaginative touch. This lady's geek fu is mighty.
