10. Mother Gothel Ages 100 Years In 5 Seconds - Tangled (2010)
Frozen has the better soundtrack, but Tangled? Definitely the superior film. It has a tighter script, funnier jokes, and Maximus, one of the funniest side characters (and the funniest horse) in all of cinema. It also had Mother Gothel, the protective mother from hell. There are two types of villains in Disney films the first wants to take over the kingdom/ ocean/ world (like Jafar in Aladdin), and the second focuses his or her energies on destroying the life of a single person (like Lady Tremaine in Cinderella). Mother Gothel was definitely the latter, seeing as she kept Rapunzel locked in a tower for her entire life for her own selfish, youth-sustaining reasons. Mother Gothel's death, which saw her wither in a matter of seconds before tumbling out of the tower, was sweet karma rearing its pretty head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsoiwn1l7bs
