Netflix's own take on the horror genre is of course explicitly tongue in cheek, combining all the elements of a great slasher - violence, a claustrophobic house, and babysitters - into one neat package that tips the genre on its head. Babysitter Bee is the one to be feared here, inviting a group of school friends over after dark to perform a satanic ritual requiring the blood of an innocent. Unfortunately for 12 year old Cole, that just so happens to be him.

Discovering the group mid-sacrifice and calling the police, the night devolves into the cultists attempting to hunt down and kill Cole; but each meets a rather grisly fate instead. Littered with sarcastic commentary and ridiculous gory accidents, The Babysitter is something lighthearted for when the scary stuff gets a bit much. And it has Bella Thorne getting shot in the tit for good measure.
