10 Best Found Footage Zombie Horror Movies

Horror fans love anthology movies, and why wouldn't they? You get plenty of bang for your buck and get to see masters of their craft making densely packed scare fests. That's why there are so many anthology-based franchises, and one that stands tall is V/H/S.

This series gives you an array of shorts that range in quality, with highlights like Amateur Night even becoming full-length movies. Still, it was the second instalment that delivered a zombie-based segment so creative, intense and unique that it made it onto this list, despite lacking a feature-length runtime.

The short - A Ride In The Park - follows a cyclist with a camera attached to his helmet. After getting attacked by a zombie, he turns into one himself, and you watch from his POV as he goes on a brutal rampage.

Everybody has seen humans running from zombies, so flipping the perspective and putting you in the monster's shoes was a simple yet easy way to reinvigorate the genre. It also scores some points for adding emotion to the beastie, with a compelling ending that puts a heartbreaking but surprisingly uplifting bow on the end.

It's worth watching the whole movie for this short alone.
