10 Best Harry Potter Characters Who Only Appeared In One Movie
4. Barty Crouch Jr.
Like father, like son.
Barty Crouch Jr - named after his father - was a vital part of The Goblet of Fire, and although this would be his only instalment in the franchise, it's hard to forget him. The Harry Potter series' villains absolutely indulged in their maliciousness, and Crouch was a pure example of this. He came into Hogwarts like a storm of evil and served Voldemort to the bitter end.
David Tennant played this role with all the cheesy villainy he could muster. His snake-like tongue, over-the-top facial expressions and screamed dialogue were incredibly indulgent and painted one of the darkest antagonists for the series.
Being the son of a high ranking Ministry of Magic member also proved that the institution was not safe from the Dark Lord's long arm, which only served to make Barty even scarier.
This character was in the flick far more than you first thought, as he used polyjuice potion to assume the identity of the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Mad-Eye Moody. His infiltration of Hogwarts and ploys to revive Voldemort had severe ramifications for the franchise's future.
It's a shame that he was killed off, but he left a big impact despite dying so soon.
