By far the most disturbing television show on this list... is an animated series about a dog and his human best pal, Tommy Goodman. Do not be distracted by the method of delivery though, this Adult Swim show is nastier and more horrifying than most straight-up horror movies or TV series.

The series follows little Tommy and the family border collie, Mr. Pickles. Little do the Goodman family suspect that Mr. Pickles is a demonic serial killer - sneaking away from home to murder and mutilate innocents all over town.

Only grandpa is wise to Mr. Pickles' evil, although the poor old coot is about as helpless against this extradimensional evil as one might imagine.

What if Lassie was Pennywise? asks Mr. Pickles. The answer is both hilarious and horrifying, in equal measure.
