10 Best Horror Comedy TV Shows You Need To See

2. Holliston

FEARnet

This one-time FEARnet series is essentially Spaced for the horror crowd. The fan-favourite sitcom follows slacker buddies and roommates Adam (Adam Green - Hatchet/Frozen) and Joe (Joe Lynch - uh, Wrong Turn 2) as they pursue their dreams of making it big as horror filmmakers.

Navigating the pitfalls of post-college life, budget filmmaking, and the opposite sex, Holliston may be the most conventional sitcom of the bunch, but it wears its horror credentials on its sleeve. Oh, and a ton of blood and gore too.

Which isn't to say that it's for everyone. Like a lot of low-budget horror, it may be off-putting to your average couch potato. In combining deep cuts from cult horror with random scenes of gratuitous gore and the traditional goofy sitcom fare, Holliston can be hit and miss, but there's no denying that it has heart. It's the Big Bang Theory with legitimacy and heart. Boo-zinga!
