10 Best Horror Movie Musicals To Watch This Halloween 2020

Unlike some of the movies on this list, Repo, The Genetic Opera hasn't yet got a cult following - but it's almost inevitable that it will. Whilst Repo is somewhat messy and lacking of clarity, it's also just so wacky and nonsensical within its plotting and themes that it actually deserves appreciation.

After all, there's such a random collaboration of different celebrities in one, from Anthony Head to Paris Hilton, this film is definitely one of a kind.

Right from the get go, the set up is bizarre. Set in 2056 with a comic strip style opening, there is surge in organ failures across the globe. A new company emerges that offers organ transplants, but those who miss payment are scheduled for repossession and found by the evil repo man.

It's plenty gory with some very interesting choices in the use of make up and costuming. The plot is difficult to follow and often, Repo feels like a rip off of other offbeat musicals. It's definitely an acquired taste but nobody can deny it's also an experience to view.
