10 Best Horror Movies Of 2014 Ranked

9. Willow Creek

Just when you thought every monster movie possible had been given the 21st century twist, Big Foot comes out of the woodwork... Or should we say, the woods? No, really. It's hard to believe that a found footage horror based around the hunt for Big Foot could make it into the top ten of 2014's best horror movies, but Willow Creek is notable for just this reason; it defies expectations. The scenario? A couple are making their way to a remote part of the States to document their search for Big Foot. A skeptical girlfriend and a fanatic boyfriend help us laugh at the scenario as eminently relatable and believable characters. It's all just a lark, and neither the audience nor the protagonists are taking it too seriously. Until it gets serious. Willow Creek isn't gory or showy; it's slow, thrilling and seriously creepy.
