If you like your horror with a few mood lifting laughs along the way, look no further than Fright Night, Craig Gillespie's 2011 remake of Tom Holland's 1985 film of the same name. The Tenth Doctor star shares the screen with the likes of Colin Farrell and Toni Collette in this comedy horror as he takes on the guise of Peter Vincent, a notorious vampire killer and owner of the 'Fright Night' Las Vegas show. Oh, and the film is about vampires, by the way, if you hadn't guessed that already. It follows the story of a teenager who enlists the services of Tennant's character amidst suspicions that his new neighbour is secretly a blood-sucking beastie in disguise. We've all been there.
