2. Shaun - Shaun of the Dead

Except this time there will probably not be any zombies. Which is why the first ice cream will be the sweetest. Shaun is an ordinary Londoner, dealing with dreary work, losing his girlfriend, keeping his pest of a flatmate and generally dealing with life slowly. Then along comes the zombie plague and suddenly he needs to be a hero. Shaun is the unconventional kind of hero, but even with a zombie apocalypse dragging him down, he sorts out his problems one by one. Nothing can stop him from being the brilliantly British archetype who survives the end of the world with a trip to the pub.
