10 Best Human Heroes In Zombie Films

3. Tallahassee - Zombieland

zombieland-woodywalking"Time to nut up or shut up." Jumping straight from one badass to another, we introduce the zombie-comedy adrenaline rush thrills of Zombieland. While main character Columbus narrates to us his Max Brooks defying rules and his lust for girls (and brushing their hair, apparently) its his beefy, badass B.F.F Tallahassee that steals the show. Woody Harrelson's volatile, Twinkie hunting legend ticks off every part of the badass quota like a shopping list of gore, booze, weapons, leather jackets, stetsons, one liners and more gore. Not only this, but he also lends himself to the most emotional scene in the film, where we learn his dismemberment-inducing hatred of zombies is down to the loss of his son. This doesn't stop him from also fronting the most badass zombie massacre on the list, even above Lionel's lawnmower down a hallway, as he uses roller-coasters and theme park rides to wreak havoc across an amusement park. This climaxes generously with a last stand inside a shooting range hut, surrounded by cuddly toys and armed with two very big pistols. Sigmund Freud can kiss his psychology goodbye, because Tallahassee is in town, and anything he doesn't like is going to see a swift, brutal end.
