5. Lionel Cosgrove - Braindead/Dead Alive
"Party's over." Ah, Lionel. The mamma's boy of Peter Jackson's sophomore film of his B-movie days. And also the subject of one of the most hilariously grotesque scenes in movie history. Seriously, if you do not know of the scene I refer to, you are not allowed to call yourself a zombie film fan. 300 liters of blood. 5 gallons a second pumping out of a giant circular bladed petrol lawnmower. Three laps of a smoky, zombie laced corridor. Upbeat classical music accompanying it all in hypnotic fashion. Pure zombie bliss. And if that isn't enough, a blood drenched Lionel then confronts his mutant mother, saves the day and even gets the girl.
