6. "But I Was Going To Toshi Station..." - Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
One of the great unintended funny moments in Star Wars occurs early in A New Hope. After Luke's Uncle Owen has fatefully acquires R2-D2 and Threepio from the scavenging Jawas, he asks a then feckless Luke to clean up his new purchases. This is the moment where the farmboy utters one of the trilogy's most absurd lines - "but I was going to Toshi Station to pick up some power converters." Not only is the line itself asinine, but Mark Hamill's nasal-heavy delivery and petulant facial expressions give this scene an unexpected (yet brilliant) comedic edge. It's even funnier when one views it retrospectively. Who would have known that the future savior of the galaxy could be such a whiner?

A devoted fan of all film genres and styles, Adam gets equally giddy over the sensitive, existential musings of Ingmar Bergman, and the brawny brilliance of Arnold Schwartzenegger. He loves fish tacos and misses the work of Heath Ledger and Jack Lemmon on a daily basis.
