10 Best MCU Endings

4. Captain America: Civil War

Captain America: Civil War was a pretty difficult sit for fans to watch given the circumstances. With Bucky finally out in the world, the Avengers find themselves torn apart from within when the government steps in to hold them accountable for their actions. This wasn’t going to end well, but we at least got a silver lining at the end of the day.

Finding out that Bucky was responsible for the murder of his parents, Tony lashes out on Cap, only to find himself clearly outmatched and beaten nearly to death by his friend. As Cap helps his fallen soldier up, he drops the shield that he has carried for years, putting an end to the golden age of Captain America. Though things were looking pretty grim, Tony receives a letter once he gets back to the compound from Steve, assuring him that he’ll be there for him if he ever needs anything.

As he springs his Avengers allies out of federal prison, Cap slowly comes into frame before everything fades to black. In the grand scheme of MCU movies, Steve Rogers has the most consistent track record of solo films, and this is just the right way to end his own personal trilogy.
