10 Best MCU Movie Endings (So Far)
7. Captain America: Civil War
Six months before the Sorcerer Supreme's MCU debut came the franchise's biggest crossover not labeled as an Avengers movie. Every major hero from the previous eight years made an appearance, with the exception of Thor and the Hulk, in one of the most explosive movies in the franchise.
Highlighted by the debuts of both Spider-Man and Black Panther, Scott Lang going giant, and the entire, jaw-dropping airport scene, it's easy to overlook the movie's powerful conclusion. However, it is one of the strongest the MCU can boast.
The fight that began with the Sokovia Accords, fueled by Zemo and his manipulation of the Avengers through Bucky, took Captain America and Iron Man to Siberia. Finally, the truth about the death of Howard and Maria Stark came to light in one of the most emotional moments between the two Avengers, that would still affect the two men seven years later in 2023.
This epic fight between the two former friends was excellently choreographed, and was portrayed beautifully by Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. Both characters gave their everything defending what they believed to be right, and it's a miracle they both survived. The Russo brothers wanted the Avengers to implode before Infinity War, and that's exactly what they achieved.
