4. Hela's Necroswords
Hela was Thor's older sister, Asgard's goddess of death, and Odin's longtime partner in conquest whom he sealed away as her thirst for power grew uncontrollable.
What was it about Hela that horrified Odin so much that he cast her - his firstborn - out of Asgard and removed her from the line of succession? Well, it's probably got something to do with the fact that she's a walking, talking, one-woman army of destruction and bloodshed.
With her obsidian necroswords, Hela was able to defeat the entire army of Asgard singlehandedly. In case you didn't process that, here it is again: she was able to defeat the ENTIRE army of Asgard. SINGLEHANDEDLY. She can literally pull an endless number of razor-sharp blades out of thin air. She can never be disarmed, and if one of her blades finds its way to you, it's lights out.
Gorr the God-Butcher - who wielded the Necrosword in the comics - is set to be the villain in Thor: Love and Thunder. Well-known gentle sweetheart, Christian Bale, will be playing the character, presumably cutting off his own nose and artificially reconfiguring his DNA and physiology into that of an actual extraterrestrial to play the part. Might we see Gorr wielding some version of the necroswords, as well?
