4. Tropic Thunder

Sure, Tropic Thunder had huge star power with Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr, Jack Black and co on the ticket, and while it did have funny moments, it was inconsistent as a comedy with so much money thrown at it. Even so, this movie will be best remembered for its epic cameo by none other than Tom Cruise himself, who plays slimy movie mogul Les Grossman.

It's the end of the movie, and Tropic Blunder, the 'fake true war movie' is a huge hit, earning eight Oscars in the process. Making big bank, Les celebrates by performing a dance number to Ludacris' Get Back. Les gets down with some ass-shaking and neck-wiggling aplomb. What makes this scene work is that we know it's Tom Cruise getting his groove on with a fat-suit.

Rarely do we see the action star play it for laughs as the actor plays it much more straight and serious usually. But you can tell in this small but awesome role, he truly lives, eats and breathes the mega-maniacal Hollywood exec persona, obsessed with making that sweet green. And we absolutely love him for it.
