10 Best Movie Lockdowns

1. Home Alone

Panic Room (2002)
Fox

"This is my house, I have to defend it!"

Official guidance on social distancing is to stay at home as much as possible, going out only for essential trips and maintaining a distance of two meters from other people. It is not, I repeat not, to fill your home with improvised booby-traps and elaborate machines designed to impale, burn, bludgeon and humiliate anyone who even tries to get close to you.

That said, you have to give credit where it's due and young Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) certainly comes up with a system that works. The hapless burglars (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern) who invade his house don't stand a chance in this Christmas classic, arguably the most popular lockdown movie ever made.
