10 Best Movie Soundtracks Of 2015

2. Chappie

The Film: Chappie is South African director Neill Blomkamp's third feature film, another gritty sci-fi movie that struggled to delight critics like District 9 did before. Chappie shows a world in which society is policed by robots, then asks us to fall in love with the first of those robots to develop sentience.

The Soundtrack: The film may have its share of critics for yet again failing to live up to the promise Blomkamp showed during his 2009 release District 9, but you can't fault the absolutely stunning soundtrack that accompanied it. Fronted by Hans Zimmer, the music is a far cry from Zimmer's recent Inception-esque bombastic leanings. At times delicate and at times frenzied, the music never lets up on its twinkling, robotic uniqueness.
