The Film: Though the film itself has been the subject of much debate (it was pulled from over two-thousand cinemas in the United States after flopping hard) the critical consensus for the film has been rather positive. In essence, the film is split into three 'acts', detailing three points in Jobs' life and letting the scenes play out naturally. Despite being largely centred on dialogue, the film is still fast-paced and at times extremely frantic. The Soundtrack: While credit must go to Aaron Sorkin for his script, the film's composer Daniel Pemberton must also be celebrated. Pemberton manages to consistently raise the tension, tempo and dramatic weight of scenes through his use of subtle, gradual music, at times leading scenes through powerful crescendo.
