10 Best Movie Title Drops Ever

The Line: "Welcome...to Jurassic Park!"

We can spend all day debating which title drop on this list deserves the number 1 spot. Which one tied best into the theme, moved the story forward, or fused into the dialogue the most naturally. But sometimes simplicity is best - and sometimes that means just judging the line on how it's delivered.

In that sense, no title drop has been delivered better than the famous line from Jurassic Park.

It might be unfair to compare anyone to Richard Attenborough, one of the best actors who has ever lived, but more than being delivered wonderfully, this line, and what immediately precedes it, was set up with the kind of care and attention you can only get from Spielberg at the top of his game.

The reveal of the dinosaurs was steadily built up with masterful craft, keeping it as secret as possible, while still cluing the audience in that yes, this scene was going somewhere special. Finally, when the dinosaurs do show up, Attenborough may as well have a red carpet laid out for him. Granted, since the title of the movie is the name of the setting, it's an easy line to make sound natural. But the delivery alone gives you chills.

This line, more than any other on this list, shows that there is a canyon of difference between a merely good title drop, and a great one.
