"I demand to have some booze!" The Eighth Doctor shares the screen with the Great Intelligence in this cult classic from 1987 which is widely cited as one of the best British films ever made. In Withnail And I, Paul McGann and Richard E. Grant get to grips with nature as a dynamic duo of unemployed and employable actors who decide to leave their squalid Camden flat for an idyllic holiday in the countryside. Things go from bad to worse, however, when they're caught in a freak downpour which puts their limited survival skills, and not to mention their entire friendship, to the test. It's a "sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll" depiction of the swinging 60s, minus the "sex and rock 'n' roll" part, which will make you feel like a pig shat in your head. In the best possible way. What did you think of this list? Are there any other great movies starring Doctor Who actors that should've been included? Share your recommendations in the comments section below!
