10 Best New Horror Movies For Halloween 2020
2. Scare Me
Another comedy horror, this quirky story sees two writers sit out a power outage, passing the time by telling scary stories. Fanny, a best-selling author, joins Fred in his cabin after a chance encounter earlier on.
Fred isn’t quite so successful as Fanny, and is clearly intimidated by this rival writer. Cue some unnecessary competitiveness and suddenly the two are frantically competing to tell the scarier story: fuelled by darkness-induced delirium and just a bit of cocaine.
Most of the stories are as silly and spooky in equal parts, complete with voice-acting and performances to accompany each tale as the two writers try to out-do each other. But as the night progresses, things get a bit more uncomfortable and the horror stories start spilling over into real life - after all, something bad is bound to happen when you stick two high, competitive nut jobs in an isolated cabin with no outside contact other than the pizza delivery guy...
With a twist at the end and a light-hearted approach thought-out, it’s definitely worth a watch if you’re up for a laugh and something a bit different than usual
